Overview
Here are the rules for posting and viewing messages on our game
boards. Use of this rules is strictly enforced. Please ensure that
you follow the rules of the boards, for the benefit and integrity of
the game and everyone involved. If you are not sure if your material
is appropriate to post, then please send us a private email message
instead.When you register for the message boards, an email is
sent to the CC. We then have to unlock (approve) your user account.
That means that there is a delay until you can post messages. This
is done as a measure against rogue and automated user signups.
Out of Game Board
Please follow generally accepted protocols for your behavior on this
board. This means do not harass, curse, or demean other users, and
other common sense guidelines. The information here is not known in
game, and any in character responses are forbidden in this board.
The use of this board is limited to players and staff, and may not
be used for other commercial purposes, including but not limited to
advertising, SPAM, or commercial posting, without express written
consent of the CC.
In Game Board
All posts in this board are in play posts. Only current and recent
players of the Wildlands West Campaign may participate in this
board. Any current PC or NPC may read the posts here, and assume
that the information is common knowledge that may be used in play,
even if the PC or NPC cannot read themselves. If you play a PC that
does not have the ability to read/write, you may NOT post in this
board. Instead, you must either submit your post to the CC, or have
another player post on your behalf. It is at the discretion of the
posting PC or NPC whether to accurately post, or to alter the
information as they see fit. This would be considered a legitimate
in play action. No out of play posts will be tolerated here. There
are also to be no Smileys, out of play Signatures, or Hypertext
permitted for in play messages. You may only use an Avatar if it is
an acceptable likeness of your character. Images are acceptable if
they are things you drew yourself (by hand) and involves no writing
or maps (unless your PC can write). Also, there are no anonymous
posts here. You must have your PC name somewhere in the message. If
you want to post anonymously, you must email your post and request
to the CC. This message board will be disabled 48 hours before an
event. Posts after this deadline must physically be posted during
the event.
Game Announcements
The only users that are allowed to post in this forum are the
campaign committee. All players are encouraged to read every post
here, as important out of play information will be announced here.
